IS-IT--Management
this is odd... We have built a .Net application which allows users to run their reports on-demand or schedule the report. The users fill in the parameters on the .net app side and then the app passes the info to enterprise and the stored proc (oracle). data is returned through the activex viewer. the .net app is totally out of the picture at this point.
if the user runs a set of parameters that will return a small amount of data... no problem. if the user runs a set of parameters that should bring back a large amount of data then the activex viewer will process and there will be an hour glass on the pointer. you know its done processing because the hourglass goes away, however, the grey screen remains. Then if you click on the next page button the data magically appears.
if we use the enterprise scheduling feature with the same large data, there are no problems with grey screen.
any ideas as to what might be wrong?
