ActiveX Viewer Prints Blank Pages

I currently have an installation of Crystal Enterprise 9 (SP1) running reports based on a Progress DB. Recently, following the installation of the latest hot fixes / patches / sp's I have noticed users attempting to print through the activex viewer are getting blank pages instead of the report. Within the viewer the report looks fine and is formatted to A4 size paper.

Printing can be done if the report is exported (eg RTF).

Anybody any ideas as to why my users cannot print? I've read about margins causing similar problems but this was PreV9 viewers.

Did you find out what was causing this problem? We have the same problem. We are using CE9.0 in combination with SQL server and have installed all patches.

This might seem like a stupid question, but I've run into it in the past...

Are you printing through the <Print Report> Button in the ActiveX toolbar or are you printing by right-clicking the report and selecting &quot;Print&quot; (or if you have an internet toolbar, by selecting the print icon)? I've had to educate users to actually use the <Print Report> button, otherwise they get a blank page...

Hello Kurt,

Yes, we use the <print report> button in the ActiveX viewer toolbar.

We do not really get a blank page. When printing the report, only the borders are printed. The fields are not printed.
