activex values passed to vc++

I am trying to find a way to pass a value from a vbscript in activex.htm to vc++. i can pass a value back from c++ to activex by using the "DISP_PROPERTY_NOTIFY" but i can't seem to find a way to pass a value to c++. any help or idas would be appreciated.
