ActiveX problem with smtp

I have a script to send a file from a database. Now that I've moved it to a new server, I get the following error

ActiveX component can't create object 'SMTPControl.smtp'

I'm searching for the error to find a solution, but I'm having trouble. Any suggestions on what I am missing?

I found the problem. I do not have outlook installed on the client machine.
