Hello,
We are using the Microsoft Flex Grid as an ActiveX control on a website. Some columns on the grid have an Edit Mask defined (such as "999999.99"
. When a user enter some value in a cell using this mask, for example 21.25, the value at the end should appear as "21.25". It used to for like this in the past two years.
Now on some computers, the resulting value is "21____.25" while on others it is still "21.25".
Another new problem that appeared, on the same computers that have the first problem, is that when a user click in a box with an Edit Mask, then try to leave the field without entering a value (using tab, or clicking somewhere else), the focus won't leave the field. It will wait for a valid value (using the Edit Mask). The only way to leave the field is to use the Escape key, which is awkward.
Does anyone have an idea what the cause may be?
Network admins in our companies are often making updates (service packs etc..) without us knowing which computer was patched or what exactly was installed. This is the only thing I can think of, but I can't figure what.
