Hi,
I develop stock control databases in Access for around 12 customers.
A recent Microsoft update has caused a problem for form with ActiveX ListView controls in them. When any event associated with the list fires, an error occurs.
Most people got this update on 15th August. It was an update to the Microsoft Office 2007 suites.
The fix that seems to work is to open the form in design view, delete the ActiveX ListView then add a new one in, name it the same then the problem goes away.
However, on PCs that have not applied the update, running the fixed version of the database created different errors.
It appears that because I have applied the update on my development PC, adding a new ActiveX ListView after applying the update makes the database incompatible with a PC that is not yet updated.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
Thanks Neil
