ActiveX Error

I get the following error while i browse Firefox webbrowser.I got this error only recently,i reinstalled Firefox after uninstalling it but i still get this error.Please let me know how to get rid of it.

Could Not create the control{00000000000000-0000-0000-0000-00000000000000000}.Check that it has been installed on your computer and this page correctly references it.

The heading of the dialog box ix ActiveX Error.

That must be malware or spyware. Firefox as far as I know does not use active x controls which is why it is much safer then internet explorer. So im guessing you either have some type of virus/malware/spyware/adware that is trying to force you to use internet explorer so it can load more crap on your computer. My advice load in safe mode, run your antivirus and spyware removers. I will also list things below to use which some you might or might not have. Programs I reccomend using and links will be below are hijackthis,adaware,spybot,avg,housecall.

If you are unsure how to use hijackthis use it last after you have used everything else and if the problem still persist unzip hijack this to desktop or a prefered folder. Open the program and choose do a system scan and save a logfile and post the information on here.

For this one called Housecall you will need to be in safe mode with networking to run it for it is an online virus scanner.

That's not malware - you (or some software) have installed the ActiveX component support for Firefox (which is buggy as hell, and produces that error message).

Delete that plugin, and all will be well again after restarting Firefox.
