ActiveX Dynamic Properties task creation

I have been tasked with creating a DTS package that uses ActiveX scripts to create another DTS package. I need to create a Dynamic Properties task in the target package. I have successfully created the task object, but cannot create a reference to the object's Assignments collection. I have tried the code supplied by Microsoft and several variations to no avail.
