Hi,
I have an Access 2000 database. In one form i have an activex control. The Microsoft Web Browser. So i have an embedded browser. I have three machines. One machine has a direct connection to the internet but does not run the database.

The other two machines do run the database. These two machines use Internet Connection Sharing to have access to the internet.

One of these machines allows me to use the embedded browser and displays my web page without a problem.

The other a Windows XP Professionl machine wont connect the web page in the embedded browser but if i go into Internet Explorer on this machine it works fine. Both machines have the same installtion required for the database. Also i have many other machines not having a problem. Just in this case. Can anyone suggest a reason for this or should i post to another group.

I have a feeling it must have something to do with the Internet Connection Sharing. Can someone give me any advice.

Thanking you in advance.
Jim
