activex control not loading fully in IE

folks,

i've got a (rather simple) activex control developed with ATL (composite control, i'm hosting a WMP control). when testing locally through a 4gl (powerbuilder), the control loads fine and works fine. when embedded into an html page, the control draws itself, but never finishes loading - the progress bar keeps going forever and the properties aren't getting set.

i have a feeling i am not handling something, which IE requires but other containers don't. i have no idea what it is though - this is where you guys come in =]

i had the same problem which was due to one of the numerous properties that are proposed in the atl wizard to add to your control. i think it's name is something like ReadyState. I simply remove it from my idl and source and it was ok.
