Hello,

I'm new to Publisher (2007 on Vista) and trying to put together a new business website.

I have just been previewing my pages until now, however, when I publish the website to my local directory for testing I receive the following message on all pages when they are displayed.

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options."

This isn't acceptable for a production website and I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
BRM

Hello,

I found that it's the Navigation Bar that is causing the ActiveX message to pop up. It displays the message when I first hover over the bar. I inserted the Navigation Bar from Publisher.

Any info on how to remove the ActiveX control requirement would be helpful.

Thanx,
BRM
