ActiveX control loads under Vista but not XP

I have created an activeX control and have deployed it so I can use it on IE.

However, the program does not work on windows XP! it only runs on vista for some reason.

When I load it on vista, it asks me if I am sure to install activex control and I confirm and it installs all the things required.

But on XP, when i confirm to install, it just sits there for a bit and then says 'done' in the status bar and doesn't load the control.

I have looked into this abit but couldnt find anything. Just to let you know, I have added the IObjectSafty because I read somewhere that it is required for activeX to run on Internet Explorer.

Can anyone help me?
