Activex control compiling problem

Please Help. Once I have compiled an Activex control under VB6, it works great. If I re-compile I get Link.exe error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled VB6 to no avail. Any ideas I can follow? [sig][/sig]

Do you get the error when you are tying to recompile the control, or is it happening after recompiling?

Error LNK1141 at control compile time. Ihave reinstalled VB6, my other projects - DLL are giving the same error. [sig][/sig]
