ActiveX component can't create object - HELP !!

Hello,

I have recently installed MDAC 2.5 onto my cmoputer since then when I try to run a crystal report I get the following error :

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ad'

ActiveX component can't create object

/persondb/personnel/adminpersonnel/AlwaysRequiredSteps.asp, line 20

the line it talkes about is :

Set session("oApp&quot = Server.CreateObject("Crystal.CRPE.Application&quot


can anybody help ?

Reinstall the crystal SDK (or component in question) on the machine. Many times, MS patches completely hose the installation of other components.

Should clear it up for you.
