I have created an Access Database and whenever I try to Build an Event on the form, or if I try to create a form using a Wizard, etc, I get the error: ActiveX Component Cannot Create Object.

I thought it may have something to do with my Windows 2000 install, as I'd had other probs, so I uninstalled and installed XP Office instead. I am still getting the problem.

Any ideas?

This is from support.microsoft.com:

If the wizards have become corrupted, you need to reinstall them from the Microsoft Office CD-ROM. To do this, follow these steps:
Locate and rename the following files:
Wzmain80.mde
Wztool80.mde
Wzlib80.mde

For example, rename the file Wzmain80.mde as Wzmain80.old.

Reinstall Access, including the wizards, from the Microsoft Office CD-ROM.
