activex calendar control not showing on some clients

i have included a calendar control on some simple pages programmed with visual interdev. The calendars only show up on some client machines. What is problem/solution to this?

I ran accross the same problem while developing an Intranet site. I had to register The msCal.ocx on clients without MS office.
