Activesync not responding

Hi guys,
I just recently updated my Windows XP to SP3, and also upgraded Activesync to version 4.5. My question is that my pc cannot connect to my mobile device. I have allowed the firewall to accept it, but still no respons comes from it. It keeps on showing a window "Retrieving data"!!

At Microsoft homepage they mention it works with SP2, but they dont mention anything about SP3. I cant even find the SP3 to uninstall it to see if it works without it.

Can anyone help me with that???

You'll need to clarify where you obtained Windows Service Pack 3 from, as it has not yet been released by Microsoft (due end 2007 or early 2008).
This is why there is nothing on Microsoft's homepage about SP3.
