I am trying to get ActiveSync 3.5 (already tried 3.1) to sync Outlook 98 Inbox mail attachments to an HP Jornada 525. Desktop is running Win NT 4.0 SP3. It is inconsistent in that some attachments have synced and hence been downloaded to the handheld, but after doing a couple the ActiveSync window just hangs at something like "5 of 12 items". I've noticed that it is quite prone to hanging if you have the temerity to try and stop a sync, or if you change some settings and then try and do a sync without rebooting. The attachments are actually being transferred directly from Exchange Server 5.5 on our internal network, although the method is purely via desktop serial i/f and then via Outlook profile settings.
