ActiveSync 4.1/Exchange Svr 2003 Message ID in subject line

I installed ActiveSync 4.1 update today on PC (Windows XP Pr0 SP2), did sync with PDA (Windows Mobile 2003)and configured PDA to sync with MS Exchange Server 2003(ES2003).

My inbox from ES2003 appeared on my PDA fine and I am able to send and receive emails OK, but when I send an email ES2003 automatically sends an email from my email account to my inbox with the email message ID of the email I just sent as the subject line and something similar to //SCKL040A ZxghAAqytJJ25ffhxxBNmmI68FWqp as the message.

It's starting to become somewhat irritating. Does anyone have a fix, please?
