Actively using CIM 7

From your experiences, what would you suggest are the key features of CIM 7 that should be utilised immediately and can help.

Key feature would be the traffic lights. i.e. Indication of servers that might have problems. Sometimes there can be too much info though.

I'm unsure whether you have been using earlier versions of CIM and agents etc. but if not you'll probably find a few servers with problems. When we started using the agents in anger we found a lot of servers with faulty drives. Nobody had set up the local event notifier on each server so you could only see it centrally.

Will give you a quick indication of loss of contact with a server if you don't have some other way of checking it.

Also good for auditing what stuff you have.
Basically try it and see, it's not that hard to set up the basics. Give it an IP range to scan and it'll find most stuff.
