Active X closes Internet Explorer

In CE8 under EPortfolio, when the user clicks on a report instance in the history screen, active x will start, then in
a few seconds, internet explorer is completely closed.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check for patches at the crystaldecisions site.

Also there are known problems with the Active-X in XP under CE8.5, I reported the bug and there's yet to be a complete fix. It happens when there's a DATETIMNE parm at the start.
