active window handle

can anyone give me an idea about how to obtain the handle of the current active window, how to receive this information from the system continuously. i.e to obtain this information whenever the user switches from one application window to another application window

1. To find current active: You must use EnumWindows().
2. By changes:Hook WM_ACTIVATE, WM_SETFOCUS, WM_SHOWWINDOW.
