Hi,
I am having problems configuring a Windows 2003 server as an additional Domain Controller in AD and wondered if anyone can help.
My current DC is on a W2300 SP2 R1 Enterprise Edition, it was previously running in W2k mode but i have raised its functional level to w2003.
The second server which i hope to make the backup, is running W2003 x64 R2 Standard edition.
When I try to install AD on the backup it reports the error detailed here:
I cannot run the adprep.exe on the w2003 R2 disc because it is the x64 version.
Should I upgrade the DC to w2003 r2? Are they basically incompatible because of the Enterprise/Standard or 32/x64 split?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
