Hello Everyone,
Let me give you the background my company took over part of another company. As a result the Windows server 2003 DC residing at this location was one of many domain controllers. We need to do the following:

Remove old AD objects
GPO needs to be configured
Domain needs to be renamed as we cannot have any reference to the former company.

Just trying to ponder what would be the best way to achieve all this. I would really like to start from scratch but that has been rejected my management...

Any suggestion would greatly be appreciated,
Jim

What do you mean by 'Remove old AD objects'?

Do you mean that you won't to check what user and/or computer accounts are no longer in use?

If so grab a copy of oldcmp from joeware.net and use that, it can basically filter by accounts that have not been used in over the number of days you specify.

'GPO needs to be configured'

What GPO, to control what? What do you want to do with GPOs?

To rename the domain follow the link dberg35 provided, if you have Exchange 2007 though you will not be able to rename the domain.
