Hi everyone,
Question. Our company is planning to upgrade to windows 2000 from Windows NT. Is it possible to
1. Create a Windows 2000 empty root domain (ie. abc.com) since we want the Enterprise Admin and Schema Admin separate.
2. Upgrade our NT4 PDC to Windows 2000 AD and make it a subdomain of abc.com (ie. nt.abc.com).
Is there anything i need to be concerned about.
security etc. I know that each domain (abc.com and nt.abc.com will have different NETBIOS names)
Is this a good way to create a empty root domain.
Thanks all
