Is there a way to find and remove old computer accounts from Active Directory? It seems as though the list would just grow and grow.

Sorry, no automatic house keeping in AD.

The are several tools availible to ease the task of maintaining AD. Here is one for finding old computers accounts and allowing you to delete them.

Upon rereading your question maybe you are asking at a more basic level. You can and should prune old objects from your AD. Just simply delete the item in AD Users and Computers. Make sure you know what your deleteing though.
