Quick question I am building my new servers using virtulisation I currently have 3 dcs as below
2 x Windows Server 2003 dc's
1 x Windows Server 2008 dc's
My plan was to build 2 new dc's in the virtual enviroment and run with that but I have seen people recommending leaving one physical dc in case the virtual environment goes down at least people can log on etc
What FSMO roles would you have where i.e virtual servers and physical
1 virtual Server is going to be DC and File Server
1 virtual server is going to be dc and Print Server
Also where would you sit DHCP I was going to have it on the file server but have it failover over to the dc that is physical all dcs will be running Server 2012
