Using MM5.2/Exchange Back-end

In Active Directory...E-mail Addresses Tab has information that is populated apparently when MM is setup for a user. There is a Numeric field that has the user's extension. When MM is disabled for a termination, this field stays populated. Is there a way to clear it without doing it manually?

Also - within Active Roles can it be removed first wihout causing a problem in Modular Messaging?
