We have 2 Windows 2000 Domains that trust each other. They are connectted by a VPN. Until Friday there was no problem. Now users in Domain "A" are unable to access files on one, and only one, server in Domain "B". They are able to get to all others servers, including domain controllers. When users attempt to access the server they receive the message.

"There are currently no logon servers avaiable to service the logon request."

I can logon to a machine in domain "A" with an account in Domain "b" and access the server with no difficulty.

Rebooted the server in question and i got a alert message in the system log.

Sounds like an issue with the Global Catalog...not sure though. Glen, Bronto,...?

Solved it. I removed the server from the domain, and then rejoined the domain and users were able to get to the server.
