Hi,

I am having a crystal report in my mind and let me tell you how it will look like. Suppose this report has three links of three different state. If i click one state it should take me to its subreport which is a detailed report of that particular state. The problem i find here is, the final report viewed by users is going to be in PDF format. But whatever linked i created on crytal, it dies when it comes to pdf format. Please help me how to resolve this one.

Thanks,
Henson

When you export a crystal report to PDF, you can migrate any URL/hyperlink field.

It is just you need to know where to link it to. You will need to preprocess each of the individual reports. ANd then have your main report link to the PDF of the others.

it sounds like you've got a report with On Demand Subreports and you are expecting a PDF document to behave the same way. PDF doesn't have On demand PDF.

The other option is to use Crystal Enterprise and do the whole thing as a CE web based report. On Demand subreprots work well with CE. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
