Activating CDE on a Aix 4.3 box. 1

What is the Best way to start CDE on a Aix 4.3 system that doesnt currently have CDE running. I want to be able to get to it thru Exceed, but currently they have it setup for Command Line only.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

ensure your dtlogin is running or not :

ps -ef |grep dtlogin|grep -v grep
root 17770 26078 0 Apr 15 - 0:00 dtlogin <:0>
root 26078 1 0 Apr 15 - /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin

Enable dtlogin: usually, dtlogin is located in /usr/dt/bin

connect as root an execute the followin command in background.
/usr/dt/bin/dtlogin &

Configure exceed with the right host IP and connect.
