Activate SNMP in CISCO Router

I am new to a Frame network that contains a mix of Cisco 2600's and 1700's all running IOS 12.x SNMP is not set up on these unit. What do I need to do to activate it.... I would like to poll with Whats Up Gold... It has not been a problem in the past, but it appears that SNMP is not working on any of these routers.

snmp-server community <readonly> RO
snmp-server community <readwrite> RW
snmp-server location Your Office
snmp-server host <whatsup_ip> public

I think that's all you need. And, make sure SNMP isn't blocked by any ACL.
