Activate Call Forwarding from cell phone?

Can you dial a short code from outside the office, if you're not at the phone?

I set up Forwarding Calls for a user. They dial *01 to Switch On Forward Unconditional.
This works, from the office, using the Avaya phones.
If they're working from home, can they dial *01?

What I would like to do, is to let users turn on Call Forwarding from their cell phones, when they're out of the office. And turn off Call Forwarding at the end of the day.

How would you do this?

If you use Mobile Twinning users can call into to FNE31 and get dialtone and enter shortcodes.

If you have an iPhone or Android phone you can use one-x-mobile-lite

all the app does is access to a handful of FNEs

If you have voicemail pro, you can setup an option to turn on and off.
