I'm using the INET control to download a file, is there a way I can pass it through the AV software (same as right-clicking a file and choosing "Scan with Avast..." or whatever)?

Also, most AV scanners have settings for whether files are scanned on reading and/or writing to disk (or network). If they are scanning on write, and the inet control is writing to disk, then the file should be scanned. If that wasn't the case then the virus writers would have a field day ...

I'm not currently saving the information to the disk - I suppose I could do that and then read it back into memory after a couple of seconds? That should trigger the AV.
