Need to configure Gre protocol 47 on a Actiontec 1520 dsl gateway. Trying to get vpn pptp to work on a server 2000 platform. From External "Verify Username and password" Times out. Do not recieve an acknowledgement from the VPN server. The Actiontec GUI does not let the user configure or turn on and off GRE. Need help configuring GRE in a telnet session. Thanks.

Actiontec 1520 configure gre protocol 47

I contacted Actiontec Support about this same question. I was informed by them that this model of DSL modem does not support the Incoming GRE Protocol 47, only Outgoing. There is no way to change this.
