Actions for an On Mouse Event

i have made a button that changes (on the Hit, Down, etc.) and would like to add a On Mouse Event. I know where to add the action, but where do i edit what the effects of the on mouseover event? Like a fade out or something of that sort. Thanks.

you could also search previous posts, we've dealt with dozens of button issues and there are plenty of fla's for downloading which might provide some inspiration for you.

Have a look at this:

Download the package.
Open the .fla and check out some of the button's action scripts.
Was done in Flash 4 but will load fine in Flash 5 that will adapt the scripting with the correct syntax.
