I have a TrialVersion of ACT2009 and like to make LINK in MsAccess2007 to ACT2009 version 11.(sql)
Just to see the data and do a conversion to other
database.

I think I need to make an ODBC ? but how, please say it step by step.
Thanks.
William

Yes I like to write also to the ACT 2009 sql database.

I have for my Goldmine 8.03 sql (for backups) the SQL Server
Managment Studio Express, I tried to get ACT there as well but did not succeed sofar.

Anyhow this above paragraph is not essential, just to make
a link via ms Access2007.
Hope you have a solution,should be,because you are Australian , right ? I am just a bloody Dutchman!,however
I think we saw Australia first, right ?

Regards
William

To read from the ACT! database, there are meny options including OLEDB and ODBC.

To write to the ACT! database, you must use the ACT! SDK

To bring data from SQL or Access into ACT!, the best way is to use itImport -
Yes, Dirk Hartog was supposed to be one of the first whites to these shores... nailed a pewter plaque on a tree and left :)
