ACT version 6

Can anyone help??

I am trying to install ACT v6 on a new PC running MS Windows XP Media 2002 Service Pack 2 and am experiencing problems. ACT v6 installs OK and I have downloaded updates: 601, 602 and 603 plus ACT!HotfixforWord2003, but when I try to install these updates I get a message saying that either ACT v6 is not installed or I am using a trial version – neither of which are the case.

Any solutions?

First, you only need the 603 update plus the Hotfix for Word2003.

If you are getting that error, it's most likely because you have something installed blocking the install from being properly completed.

The most common application is Norton Anti Virus. If you have NAV, uninstall ACT!, uninstall NAV, install ACT!, apply the 603 update and hotfix, then install NAV.
