HI ACT professionals:

I would like to import ACT records into Excel is this possible and if so how?

Thanx
Trudye

Hi Trudye,

Yes, you can import Act database information into an Excel spread sheet. You can either import the entire database into Excel or by doing a lookup in Act you can just import the lookup information. With the information you want to export on the screen (entire DB or Lookup) you will then select "File" then "Data Exchange" then "Export" you will then be prompted to select the file type you wish to export to. In this case you will want to use "Text-Delimited" and then select the "Filename and location" that you wish. Once your past that point just follow the screen prompts and you should be set.

Good Luck!
