I hope I'm in the right forum. I am an Access programmer, I have a client that feeds/updates their Access database via ACT.

I do not know ACT and until now have been doing only Access changes for them. But they are complaining that the updates are not pulling all of the data. I believe they are currently using in-house code to pull the data.

I read about a software "ACEcrm" that does dynamic updates to Access from ACT.

Has anyone used this software or heard anything about it?

Thank you,
Trudye

I have not used the software, but wanted to let you know that we have encountered problems when using Access trying to keep the db updated, such as locked fields.

You may want to take a look at the ACT! Addon's site at and see if any of the options on this link help.

BTW, the next version of ACT! has a SQL db from what I understand.

Hello Trudye,
I have a client that is using ACTAccess from Windswept software and it is working very well. Contact information is pulled/synced from ACT! into an Access database.

The software is easy to use and setup. Although customer support is sketchy I have found the product to be reliable.

Hope this helps.

Michael

Thank you so much Dollie and StoryTeller you comments about Windswept help a lot. I will pass them along to my client because right now they are having a lot of trouble with data integrity.

Be well,
Trudye
