ACT Scheduler backup in 2008

Ok, so here's the deal.

I have 5 databases on my windows 2003 server. This server acts as an ACT database server ONLY running ACT 2008. I set five separate backup jobs to backup the databases using ACT Scheduler. The first backup starts at 8pm the remaining backups start at 12am,2am,4am, and 6am. I have configured scheduler to keep 3 backup files for each database. So far there have only been three databases that get backed up and only the most recent backup is kept in the backup folder. I have contacted tech support about this but as usual they were of absolutely no help so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The log shows that all of the databases were backed up without any errors what so ever.

I'd check that you're backing up the databases to the right location

BTW: Do NOT backup the databases to the Backup folder in the ACT! database folder

I have double and triple checked to make sure the location is correct. The backups are not being stored in the backup folder either.

We are running ACT version 10.0.1.199

Here is the most recent log, as you can see it reports no errors and says the database was backed up.

I'm wondering if it's a bug only letting three files (and not checking the file name)

What happens if you change the number of backups to keep to be 18 (3 x 6)?

That appears to have worked but I don't want or need to keep the last 18 backups. I am going to try backing it down to two and see how that works.
