I am getting the following Program Error when one user (out of 10) is opening ACT! 5.0:

act exe has generated errors and will be closed b Windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Act! never gets beyond the opening splash screen before this error occurs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice to no avail. Workstations are Windows 2000 pro, as is the server. Have scanned for Viruses - none. Have uninstalled the latest Windows patch. This error has just started happening - the program ran fine up until a week ago. I can't figure it out and I'm losing my mind!

it has taken me a VERY long time to resolve this issue for myself. As they dont have "program error" as a keyword for this issue.

The above errors occur when users have a large number of fonts, typically when using Windows 2000 or Windows XP. If you receive this error, you will need to increase the default font cache size.
