I upgraded a customer from ACT 6.0 to ACT 2009. After calling support I was told that one of the key features that this user was interested in was no longer available, since the previous version. In 6.0, at a scheduled time daily, any changes to the calendar made would be emailed, via pop3, to a user outside his organization and running a separate ACT database.
This was taken out due to security issues with Outlook and SPAM filters. I can understand that but my question is if anyone knows if an addon that would allow me to do this again?
I've got it publishing to an Exchange/Outlook calendar no problem but we have a third party that needs these calendar updates, and they are not and cannot be on the same Exchange system.
If anyone knows I would appreciate a heads up. Thanks!
