ACT Contacts / Activities

I am trying to add a new 'Contact' record to an ACT 5.0 database from Access 2k.

I can open the database file and I can add a 'contact' record fine. When I try to add a new 'activity' I am successful in adding the entry to the file (I can see the entry if I open the file in Excel) but I cannot see the entry anywhere within ACT?

Any Ideas?

Act has a tendancy to delay posting. We use Act for everything and sometimes you have to go to another contact before you note or history will post. I'm not sure how long it has been since you searched for this entry, you may want to look again and make sure you have not overlooked it.
