i use act for real estate. some owners own numerous properties. how can i have an owner's other properties listed on each of his properties' records? i would match first by owner name, and also (separately) by mailing address because some show up as different LLC's at the same address or conversely, the same name at different mailing addresses. is there a way to have them permanently show on each record, or at least create a macro to search for duplicates? i tried messing around with the duplicates search but couldn't seem to get it right.

You say ACT! 6 in the header, but talk about ACT! for Real Estate (which was a product from ACT! 7 and later).

Is the version ACT! 6 and you're using in a real estate business? If so, why not use the Groups feature to be the properties?

sorry, i use act six, i just so happen to be in the real estate business.

what is an easy way to set up groups for thousands of records? when i tried searching duplicates, it would give me every set of duplicates in the database, not just the duplicates for whatever property i had up at the time. i probably have about 35,000 records, and maybe 30,000 different owners. most owners own one property, some own 50. thanks.
