Act 6 and vista

Hi, I am using act 6 with Vista, all was fine for about 6 months now when i try to start ACT vista says "ACT 6 The application has stopped working" have tried deleting and reloading ACT but still does same thing.....HELP ...

Was wondering if you had any luck solving your problem. I too am running ACT! 6 and looking to make the big migration to Vista.
Does anti-virus software present a conflict?

No one really know why ACT! 6.0 and other old software sometimes stops wo0rking on Vista.

Microsoft made Vista so it wouldn't even allow the installation of their older products that are not updated for Vista.

With ACT!, only version 10 is fully Vista complient.
