ACT 6.0: Using ACT groups to send email with attachments

Hello,
At our office, we are trying to use ACT 6.0 to send an email to multiple contacts using a specific ACT group. The email contains text with both a .gif in the body of the email, and some PDF attachments (I tried attaching the gif and PDFs after selecting the group of contacts to email). I tried to do this but the attachments did not actually attach to the email once it was sent (the graphic shows up as the red x/blue ?, and the PDFs are not there).
Any suggestions for me?
Is there any easier way to just export the email addresses of a single group in ACT for use with Outlook?

ACT! 6 didn't merge with attachments.
