Hi,

I just upgraded from Act 2000 to Act 2007 Version 9. I know, what a leap. I have pretty much everything working. Except: I need an advanced query, which is saved, to be in a specific sort order, using three separate fields, so that when I press my custom button on tool bar that specific query shows in the correct sort order. I could do this in Act 2000. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Unfortunately, this isn't an option in ACT! 7.0 and later...

Sage are always looking for new ways to make ACT! a better product to use. Suggestions are a valuable way to ensure that you get the most out of your software.

To send feedback directly to management about enhancing ACT!, they have a web page that you can specifically do this at:

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.

In the meantim, there are several Windows Macro products (a google search will shwo them) that you could use to do the Lookup and the Sort.
