Act 2007 not posting History

I had Act 2003 and upgraded to Act 2007. When I did this it slowed down my computer and all other programs. Sometimes I have to reboot three times before I can even open any program. Tabbing thru act is a slow process as it pauses after every entry. I removed the 2003 after the fact but it did not help. Now if I enter a new contact, it does not create any history. I looked on some older contacts and the history is there but not on all. Very frustrated
 
There never was an ACT! 2003, so not sure what version you're referring to.

If you have to reboot multiple times before opening a program, I'd suggest you might have a damaged Operating System and this could likely explain the other issue you're having
