I am hoping someone can give me an idea as to why I am getting this very annoying problem with all our PC's. I have installed ACT 2007 (9.0) on all our machines no problem but when our employees go to write a document using the "Write > Other Document" command from the drop down menu's the program crashs after the mail merge is complete with no explination of the crash. It does it on every machine the program is installed on. I am wondering if anybody has had this problem before and if so do they know of a patch or solution? Our company have had to purchase the ACT Support contract because of this error which has cost us over £500 and has been a waste of money as not even ACT Technical Department know of a solution to this error.

Here is some information about our systems that may help:

1) PC's are all required specification
2) OS is Windows XP SP2
3) Office 2003 SP2
4) NOD32 2.5 AntiVirus

Event logs show the following errors:

1) The configuration of the AdminConnection\TCP protocol in the SQL instance ACT7 is not valid.

2) .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting - Faulting application actsage.exe, version 9.0.175.0, stamp 44f3551e, faulting module imon.dll, version 2.51.8.0, stamp 42d24c73, debug? 0, fault address 0x0000d039.

3) ACT Outlook Service - An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for QueueProviders: Could not load file or assembly 'Act.Outlook.Service.AppCommon, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=ebf6b2ff4d0a08aa' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) (C:\Program Files\ACT\ACT for Windows\Act.Outlook.Service.exe.config line 4)

I have tried to re-install ACT, .NET 2.0 Runtime and Microsoft Office 2003 and nothing works.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Does this happen with a different database (eg demo)?
Does this happen with all tempalates ... even the default ones?
